The restaurant is neatly decorated throughout in black and white although the service can, at times, be a little hesitant. Located in a discreet little street with an upstairs entrance, Chez Patrick’s elegant black and white décor attempts to bring the atmosphere of a typical Parisian apartment to Wanchai. Waiters crying “Bon Appétit” as glasses of Cognac, Armagnac and Calvados chink to the sound of French music helps complete a successful Gallic transplant. The romantic ambience is enhanced with a red candle on each table ; the cuisine is reassuringly traditional.
